Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dimitris Atsalopoulos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kim Jong!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Peter Branson and Sandra Marshall.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jong dodges the punch combination from Atsalopoulos.

Atsalopoulos has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Jong uses from the top position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jong must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

It looks like Jong might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Jong has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Atsalopoulos is proving hard to escape from.
Jong seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

That was a close round but I would say that Dimitris Atsalopoulos will probably get the nod.

Jong throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Atsalopoulos was covering up waiting for the punch and Jong finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Jong drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Atsalopoulos dives on top into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Atsalopoulos swings around for an armbar but Jong sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Atsalopoulos's guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jong is on top in guard.

Jong lands a couple of good shots and Atsalopoulos has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
