Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miyamoto lands a high kick!
We've been informed that Clark has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Clark misses with a body shot.
Miyamoto lands a nice hook to Clark's body. Clark takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Miyamoto misses with a head kick.
Miyamoto lands with a right hand.
Miyamoto misses with a few strikes there.
Clark changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Miyamoto tries for a takedown but Clark sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Clark lands an overhand right.
Clark lands with a kick to the temple. Miyamoto shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Boyd Clark seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Clark throws a right and a left that Miyamoto avoids nicely.

Clark drives through and clinches with Miyamoto against the cage.

I was talking to Miyamoto's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Miyamoto wants to control but Clark is having none of it.
Miyamoto tries to improve his position but Clark has taken his back! Clark has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Miyamoto tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Clark pushes Miyamoto away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!

A very excited looking Boyd Clark rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
