The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schmo misses with a jab to the body
and Zimmerman counters with a good, hard body kick but Schmo shrugs it off.
Schmo misses with an uppercut
letting Zimmerman counter with a right hand.

It looks like Joe Schmo has been cut.
Zimmerman scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Zimmerman with a hook.
Joe Schmo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zimmerman lands a nice looking body kick.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Zimmerman. Schmo shrugs it off though.
Schmo walks forward, straight into a front kick from Zimmerman.

Schmo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Zimmerman was well out of range. Poor timing from Schmo.

Zimmerman displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Schmo throws out the jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Zimmerman scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
The fighters circle momentarily. Zimmerman darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Zimmerman throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Zimmerman fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Schmo looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Zimmerman lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Zimmerman lands a nice looking body shot.

Schmo shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

That has opened up Joe Schmo's cut even more.
Zimmerman lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Schmo shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Zimmerman counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Zimmerman fakes the leg kick and cracks Schmo in the body.
Schmo on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Zimmerman changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Zimmerman cracks a nice hook into Schmo's ribs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Zimmerman lands an overhand right.
Zimmerman throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Schmo on the side of the head.
A jab from Zimmerman finds it's way through Schmo's defenses.

Schmo is rocked!

The cut above Joe Schmo's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Zimmerman.
Schmo is still on wobbly legs! Can Zimmerman finish him?
Zimmerman throws an uppercut from hell that sends Schmo clean off his feet! He's out cold! Zimmerman stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.

A relieved looking Frankie Zimmerman thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
