Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Winston Alpacca and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Davids blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Davids jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Cashnew walks away with a smile on his face. Davids gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Cashnew lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Davids at a distance.

Cashnew bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Davids's head backwards.
Cashnew is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Davids.
Cashnew moves into range and clinches up with Davids.

Davids wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Cashnew has him pressed against the cage.

Cashnew is pressed up against the cage. Davids has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Cashnew down to the mat. Cashnew avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Cashnew definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Davids has taken the fight to the clinch.
Davids gets control of Cashnew's arms and successfully pulls guard. Davids will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Davids told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.
Davids has had enough of the clinch but Cashnew keeps him there for the moment.
