PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quinton Randleman (ranked 479 p4p, 62 weight class) and Lennart Lennartsson (ranked 2201 p4p, 253 weight class). With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lennart Lennartsson!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Richard Clark and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lennartsson leaves Randleman with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Lennartsson unleashes a big counter combination but Randleman bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Lennartsson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Randleman throws a predictable looking body shot
and Lennartsson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Randleman misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Randleman comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Randleman might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Randleman is working Lennartsson over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Randleman passes Lennartsson's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Randleman is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Lennartsson reverses the position - he's now on top in Randleman's guard.
Randleman looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

and Lennartsson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Lennartsson needs to keep his hands up - Randleman had a free shot at his head there.
Quinton Randleman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Randleman misses with an uppercut. Lennartsson saw that one coming.
Randleman tries for a takedown but Lennartsson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Lennartsson thuds his right hand into Randleman's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

It seemed like Lennartsson was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Randleman.

Lennartsson gets tackled into the cage by Randleman. Randleman maintains the clinch.

Randleman goes for a takedown attempt but Lennartsson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Randleman tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Lennartsson counters with a nice right hand that sends Randleman toppling to the canvas! Randleman scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Lennartsson finish him?!
Randleman closes the distance but Lennartsson moves to the side
and Lennartsson counters with a huge left! Randleman is in big trouble! He's backing up but Lennartsson isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Randleman from any more damage. A dominating finish by Lennartsson!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lennart Lennartsson!
Jumping up and down and very excited, Lennart Lennartsson waved his t-shirt featuring Sin City Allstars's logo in front of the cameras.
The defeated Quinton Randleman had this to say: 'Really? i dident loose. everybody knows that. the judges got paid.'.
