The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dickson avoids a kick to the body.

Wren feints and as Dickson raises his hands in defense, Wren changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Dickson is looking to stand up but Wren isn't so interested in that idea.
Wren trying to control the position from guard on top but Dickson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Wren prevents Dickson from getting back to his feet.
Dickson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Dickson looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dickson has his foot on Wren's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wren works his way back into a safe position though.

Dickson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
