Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Malako Lahua (ranked 4108 p4p, 469 weight class) and Sarel The Eagle (ranked 22771 p4p, 727 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Malako Lahua!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Sarel The Eagle!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Tarja Halkonen and Marco Blurström.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lahua throws a body shot but no joy.
Lahua scores with a sloppy right hand. The Eagle should have avoided that one.
Lahua lands a jab to The Eagle's midsection.
The Eagle shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Lahua counters by moving into the clinch.
Lahua lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of The Eagle backwards.
The Eagle takes an elbow to the forehead.

The Eagle has Lahua pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. The Eagle pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Lahua tumbling to the mat - The Eagle dives into Lahua's guard.

Lahua has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes The Eagle off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The Eagle misses with a body kick.
The Eagle walks into a left hand.
Lahua changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lahua dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on The Eagle. That did some damage!
The Eagle goes for a double leg but Lahua avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Lahua continues to drive forward.

and Lahua connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Malako Lahua has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sarel The Eagle.
The Eagle is looking to clinch but Lahua is avoiding it.
The Eagle misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lahua moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
The Eagle takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Lahua looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lahua prevents The Eagle from improving his position.
The Eagle is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Lahua scores with a couple of nice shots.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lahua lands strikes from half guard.
Lahua controlling the pace.
Lahua lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

The Eagle is rocked!

Lahua is trying for a kimura here. The Eagle looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Lahua wins by kimura!
