Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Elwood Gross (ranked 24318 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh White (ranked 6570 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gross gets caught napping as White dives in and scores a takedown. Gross manages to retain guard.

White fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Gross sprawls well initially but White persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

White is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
White tries to break free but Gross pushes him back against the cage.
Gross really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

White drops back, looking for a kneebar! Gross looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Gross looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Gross!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

That was a close second round but I would say that Elwood Gross will probably get the nod.

Gross ducks down and throws a hook to the body but White moves away.
Gross chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before White can pounce on him.
White shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Gross is trying to defend but White finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Josh White comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well White has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
