Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Son Baldwin (ranked 25327 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Raven (ranked 6433 p4p, 0 weight class). Dan Raven will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Son Baldwin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dan Raven!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Andrew Berry and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Raven scores with a takedown into Baldwin's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Raven controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Baldwin striking off his back but it's not causing Raven any problems.

Baldwin winds up and cracks Raven with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Baldwin takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Raven really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Baldwin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Baldwin looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Raven with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Baldwin looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Baldwin is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Raven is just riding it out for now. Baldwin eventually gives up the hold.

Raven is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Baldwin could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Baldwin is nestled in close to Raven, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Baldwin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Raven is defending against the submission attempts here by Baldwin.

Baldwin gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Raven's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Raven dives in and scores a takedown into Baldwin's guard.

Baldwin manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Raven drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Baldwin strikes from the bottom but Raven uses the opportunity to move to side control.
Baldwin tries to strike but it doesn't land.
Baldwin looking for a sweep but Raven has passed into full mount! Oh no!

Baldwin keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Raven breaks from Baldwin's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Raven is landing with some decent strikes but Baldwin is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Raven swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Baldwin is now in Raven's guard. A big mistake from Raven there, giving up the dominant position!
