Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Bedlaminov (ranked 2802 p4p, 319 weight class) and Carl Williamson (ranked 5834 p4p, 579 weight class). Bedlaminov comes to the cage accompanied by Call to Arms. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Yuri Bedlaminov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Carl Williamson!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Patrick Alders and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williamson shoots in but Bedlaminov avoids the takedown attempt easily.
A jab from Bedlaminov misses.
Williamson drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Bedlaminov defends it well.

Williamson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bedlaminov looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Bedlaminov is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now.
Bedlaminov wants to control but Williamson postures up.
Williamson misses with the ground and pound.
Bedlaminov manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Bedlaminov is controlling the pace.
Bedlaminov trying to pass the guard but Williamson defending well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Williamson tries to kick Bedlaminov off but Bedlaminov keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Bedlaminov wants to pass to mount but Williamson is defending the position.
Williamson is trying to stand up here but Bedlaminov is controlling him well.
Bedlaminov is pressing down on Williamson's thigh, looking to free his foot. Williamson is holding on for now.
Bedlaminov is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Bedlaminov looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Bedlaminov prevents Williamson from standing back up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Bedlaminov throwing shots but Williamson is blocking nicely.
Williamson is in trouble now - Bedlaminov has advanced to mount!
Bedlaminov content just to control the position here.
Bedlaminov has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Bedlaminov's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Bedlaminov is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Williamson can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Bedlaminov takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Williamson tries to buck Bedlaminov off but he can't manage it.
Bedlaminov controlling the pace for now.
Bedlaminov punching from mount but Williamson doing a good job of avoiding damage.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Williamson blocking the ground and pound.
Williamson trying desperately to get to his feet.
Williamson is squirming around, avoiding Bedlaminov's attempts to control the action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Yuri Bedlaminov dominated that round.
That's time! Bedlaminov's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Williamson gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.


It looks like Carl Williamson has been cut.
Bedlaminov scores with a nice strike.
Williamson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bedlaminov sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Williamson somewhat.
Williamson doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Bedlaminov cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
We've been told by Bedlaminov's head coaches at Vendetta Alliance London Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Williamson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Yuri Bedlaminov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carl Williamson.

Bedlaminov cracks Williamson with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Bedlaminov has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Williamson to stand back up!


Williamson is rocked!


That has opened up Carl Williamson's cut even more.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bedlaminov lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Williamson out cold! Williamson is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Yuri Bedlaminov!
Yuri Bedlaminov looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'I am still laughing at the fact that we BOTH came in to Manowar m/ =T=m/'.
