Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Carmen Moses!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Billy Kazmer!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Franklyn Lucas and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moses tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kazmer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Moses moves into the clinch.
Kazmer goes for a takedown in the clinch but Moses prevents it.
Moses tries to pull guard but Kazmer won't allow it.
Kazmer lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Kazmer looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Kazmer jumps into guard, dragging Moses to the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kazmer wants to sweep here but Moses controlling him for the moment.

Moses escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kazmer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Kazmer decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Billy Kazmer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kazmer shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Moses pinned against the cage. Moses gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Moses tries to clinch there but Kazmer circles away.
Kazmer fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Moses avoids it really well and circles away.
Carmen Moses has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Kazmer.

Moses drives through and clinches with Kazmer against the cage.

Kazmer jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Moses walks away with a smile on his face. Kazmer gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Moses is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Kazmer defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Moses seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kazmer does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

and Kazmer counters with a left to the body.
Kazmer tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Moses swivels and escapes.
Moses slaps away a takedown attempt from Kazmer, before circling back to the center of the mat.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Moses creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

I would just about give that final round to Billy Kazmer.
