Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mike Hoolahan!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Michael Johnstone and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sinclair manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hoolahan on his heels. He'll look to pass Hoolahan's guard now, I'm sure.

Hoolahan pushes Sinclair off and scrambles back to his feet.
Hoolahan fails to land the takedown.
Sinclair feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Nice sprawl there from Sinclair as Hoolahan shoots in.
Hoolahan shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sinclair sprawls well. Sinclair wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hoolahan gets slowly back to his feet.
Frank Sinclair has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Hoolahan.

Sinclair gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Hoolahan to score an easy takedown into full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Sinclair has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hoolahan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Hoolahan dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Sinclair. That did some damage!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Hoolahan dives in for a single leg takedown but Sinclair sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Hoolahan motions for Sinclair to come forward. Hoolahan throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Hoolahan has closed the distance and engaged Sinclair in a clinch.
Hoolahan tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Sinclair avoids it.
Sinclair misses with some punches.

Sinclair breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Hoolahan closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Sinclair's guard.

Sinclair is fighting off a takedown attempt but Hoolahan is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Sinclair to the mat. Sinclair regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Hoolahan shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Sinclair manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

A nice leg kick lands there from Hoolahan.

Hoolahan's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Hoolahan lands an elbow that stopped Sinclair in his tracks for a moment.

Hoolahan wants the takedown. Sinclair is fighting it off but Hoolahan persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Sinclair's guard against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hoolahan has hold of Sinclair's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Sinclair tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Hoolahan cranks the arm and Sinclair screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Sinclair, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
