Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Minobu Kurita (ranked 5505 p4p, 634 weight class) and Pierre St George (ranked 2963 p4p, 405 weight class). Kurita's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Game of Thrones. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Anthony Taglia and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kurita fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
St George keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Kurita shoots in and drives through. St George sprawls well.
A countering left hand to the body from St George misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Minobu Kurita. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kurita misses with a jab, cross combination.

St George let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

St George now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
St George throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
St George thuds a left hand into Kurita's body.
Minobu Kurita seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kurita shoots for a takedown but St George saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
St George appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Kurita is breathing heavily.
Decent striking displayed by St George there.
Kurita goes for a double leg but St George avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as St George continues to drive forward.
Kurita gets cracked with a nice right hand there by St George.
St George keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Kurita darts in looking for a takedown but St George gets double underhooks and turns Kurita into the cage.
Kurita looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? St George is fending him off so far but Kurita persists. Nope, St George circles away and we're back to standing.
A nice side step and St George releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
St George scores with a jab to the body.
A jab lands there for St George.
Kurita will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
St George cracks a nice hook into Kurita's ribs.
That kick from St George tenderised Kurita's leg. Kurita is trying to keep his angry face on.
St George lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
A big right from Kurita misses.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that St George has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
St George swings and misses with a hook to the body.
St George thumps Kurita with a low kick.
Kurita throws a big shot that misses.
St George is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Kurita rather than just go for the knockout.
Kurita has his takedown stuffed
and St George counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
St George scores with a body shot.
Kurita tries to close the distance and clinch but St George swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
St George was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Kurita changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. St George tries to avoid it but Kurita manages to keep hold of a leg and drag St George to the ground. St George escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Pierre St George is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kurita throws a right hand that St George ducks under and follows up with a left that St George also avoids with ease.
St George cracks Kurita with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kurita tries to clinch there but St George circles away.

Kurita shoots and misses
and St George counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
St George throws a head kick that half lands.
St George tests Kurita's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Kurita is rocked!
St George throws a monster overhand right that drops Kurita! St George follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

An out of breath Pierre St George thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
