The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Jaeger is trying hard to land a takedown here. Leo sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Jaeger fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Leo to the ground. Jaeger is now in Leo's guard.
Jaeger in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Leo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jaeger gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Jaeger has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Leo to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Jaeger is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Leo pulls down on the head and he's put Jaeger to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Trevor Leo!
