Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Maximillian Lydon (ranked 2512 p4p, 133 weight class) and Brandon Lucien (ranked 7335 p4p, 321 weight class). Lucien has chosen Can't Stop - Red Hot Chili Peppers as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Brandon Lucien enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decent striking displayed by Lydon there.
Lydon ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lucien moves away.
Maximillian Lydon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lucien takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

It looks like Brandon Lucien has been cut.
Lydon thuds a left hand into Lucien's body.
Lydon misses the shot to the body.
Lucien tries to counter by closing the distance.
Lucien walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Lucien gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Lucien really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lydon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lydon stands up over Lucien, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lucien can do anything to dispel that myth.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lydon throws a big elbow that misses.
Lydon stands and throws Lucien's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Lydon advances nicely into full mount.

The referee warns Lucien that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Lydon cracks Lucien with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
