Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Clement Romero (ranked 6498 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamie Weiss (ranked 7489 p4p, 0 weight class). Jamie Weiss will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weiss connects with a body shot that sends Romero's belly button to the back.
Weiss swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Romero.
Weiss displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Romero.
Romero takes one to the side of the head.

Romero bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Romero working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Romero tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Romero tries to score with some ground and pound. Weiss controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Romero wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Weiss, who protects the arm well.

Romero is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Weiss knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Romero thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Romero has hold of Weiss's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Weiss seems comfortable defending it but Romero has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Weiss is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Weiss is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Romero couldn't care less - he's delighted!
