Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ving Rhymes (ranked 6439 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kim Jong (ranked 3362 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Santiago Holmes and Michael Johnstone.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jong shoots in for a double leg but Rhymes sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jong.
Rhymes seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Ving Rhymes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rhymes moves into range and clinches up with Jong.
Rhymes struggles to land a body shot inside as Jong controls his hands.
A head punch on the inside from Rhymes fails to land.
Jong is trying to push Rhymes away but Rhymes has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Rhymes misses with a punch on the inside.
Jong has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Rhymes after a bit of a struggle.
Ving Rhymes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kim Jong.
Rhymes gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Jong.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The referee is keeping an eye on Rhymes - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Jong should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Jong gets control of Rhymes's arms and successfully pulls guard. Jong will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Jong avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Rhymes seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Jong is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Rhymes has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Jong manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Rhymes manages to get himself to full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rhymes keeping moving, preventing Jong from controlling successfully.

Jong throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Jong stops Rhymes from standing up.
Jong stays in close to Rhymes's body and controls the position.
Rhymes will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Jong looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Jong tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Rhymes just stands there and leans against the cage.

Rhymes has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Jong to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Rhymes is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Jong pulls down on the head and he's put Rhymes to sleep! This one is all over!
