Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Lamphard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ghengis Khan!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lamphard scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Khan scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lamphard doesn't seem bothered though.
Lamphard cracks Khan with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Lamphard drops Khan with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Khan looks back up at him and smiles so Lamphard waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Khan is rocked!
It looks like Ghengis Khan has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lamphard throws a pinpoint strike between Khan's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Khan crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Lamphard scores a great knockout victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Frank Lamphard!
Frank Lamphard spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
