Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rudolf Knight (ranked 24527 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joh Kaema (ranked 6397 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rudolf Knight!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joh Kaema!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kaema is defended easily by Knight.
Kaema fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Knight moves out of range of the body kick.
A counter left hand to the body from Knight misses its target.
Nice takedown defense from Knight. No joy for Kaema on that attempt.
Rudolf Knight has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joh Kaema.

Kaema fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Knight, pushing him back against the cage.

Kaema tries to pull guard but Knight holds him up against the cage and eventually Kaema drops back down to his feet.

Knight will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Kaema up against the cage.

Kaema has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Knight uses from the top position.

Kaema should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Kaema is pulling down on Knight's head. It's preventing any offense from Knight, at least for the moment.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Kaema throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kaema tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Knight tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kaema paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Knight will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Knight loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Knight wants to stand but Kaema is controlling his posture from full guard.
Kaema wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Knight manages to pass to side control.

Knight got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kaema has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Knight has managed to get both his arms back between Kaema's legs - danger averted.

Knight decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Knight shoots in looking for a takedown but Kaema manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Knight's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Knight really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Kaema looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Knight has picked Kaema up and slammed him! Kaema can't keep hold of the triangle and Knight manages to pass to side control!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Knight, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
