Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tung Fo (ranked 1495 p4p, 213 weight class) and Satoshi Tanahashi (ranked 1752 p4p, 243 weight class). Tanahashi has chosen Blood Stain Child - Stargazer as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tung Fo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Satoshi Tanahashi!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tanahashi ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Fo has managed to clinch.
Tanahashi tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Fo drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Tanahashi gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Tanahashi tries to throw a body punch but Fo avoids it by throwing Tanahashi back against the cage.
Tanahashi has a couple of punches blocked by Fo.
Fo fails to pull guard.
Fo is trying to pull guard but Tanahashi turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tung Fo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fo fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Tanahashi misses with the head strike.
Tanahashi lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Fo tries to pull guard but Tanahashi holds him up against the cage and eventually Fo drops back down to his feet.
Fo tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Tanahashi just stands there and leans against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fo fails to pull guard.
Tanahashi cracks Fo with a nice body shot.
Tanahashi is pushing Fo up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Fo tries to pull guard but Tanahashi holds him up against the cage and eventually Fo drops back down to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fo is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Fo is trying to drag Tanahashi to the mat but Tanahashi just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Tanahashi misses with a hook to the ribs.

Tanahashi breaks the clinch.

Tanahashi drops Fo with a left right combo! Tanahashi follows him down to the ground into side control.

Fo is rocked!

It looks like Tung Fo has been cut.
Tanahashi in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Fo looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Tanahashi turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
