Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Fuddy Duddy (ranked 3120 p4p, 315 weight class) and Soitoi Wanalaiiea (ranked 5070 p4p, 452 weight class). Soitoi Wanalaiiea will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Fuddy Duddy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Soitoi Wanalaiiea!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duddy throws a hook but Wanalaiiea avoids it easily.
Wanalaiiea tries to bum rush Duddy with a series of wild strikes but Duddy uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Wanalaiiea tests Duddy's chin there with a solid looking shot.

and Wanalaiiea counters with a single leg into guard. Duddy didn't expect that.
Duddy lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Duddy might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Wanalaiiea seems keen to control Duddy's posture.

Wanalaiiea has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Duddy can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Wanalaiiea is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Duddy goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Wanalaiiea has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Duddy but great work by Wanalaiiea.
Duddy tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Wanalaiiea presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Wanalaiiea pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Wanalaiiea throws some wild stikes that Duddy manages to avoid easily.
Wanalaiiea throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Duddy because Wanalaiiea loaded up on that one.
Duddy bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Duddy tries to free his leg and advance position but Wanalaiiea is retaining full guard.
Duddy loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Wanalaiiea is pulling down on Duddy's head. It's preventing any offense from Duddy, at least for the moment.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Wanalaiiea really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Duddy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That was a close round but I would say that Fuddy Duddy will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Wanalaiiea has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Wanalaiiea there as he acknowledges the shot.
Duddy throws out a loose jab but Wanalaiiea uses good head movement to avoid it.
A left and a right from Wanalaiiea both land. Nice combination.
A big right from Duddy misses.
Wanalaiiea wants to counter with a clinch but Duddy pushes him away.
Duddy looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Wanalaiiea has Duddy up against the ropes in a clinch.
Duddy tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Wanalaiiea manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Duddy has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Wanalaiiea should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Duddy has tightened it up now! Wanalaiiea should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
