Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Beam (ranked 3383 p4p, 78 weight class) and Delwyn Baines (ranked 4183 p4p, 96 weight class). Baines has chosen Jeff Beck - Hi Ho Silver Lining as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Delwyn Baines enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Delwyn Baines!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baines throws a hook but Beam avoids it easily.
Beam is looking for a counter combo.

It looks like Jim Beam has been cut.
Beam displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Baines throws out the jab.
The fighters circling - Baines throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Baines looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Beam's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

That was a close round but I would say that Jim Beam will probably get the nod.

Beam shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Baines sprawls well. Baines wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Beam gets slowly back to his feet.

Beam tries to bum rush Baines with a series of wild strikes but Baines uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Beam takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Baines defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Beam.
