The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lora gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Somwan counters with a straight right hand.
Somwan scores with a shot to the body.
Somwan punishes Lora's body with a nice straight punch.
Lora doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Somwan counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Nice uppercut lands for Somwan. That snapped Lora's head back.
Lora throws a head kick that misses
and Somwan counters with a nice body shot.
Lora looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

and Somwan counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Lora thinking.
Chinawoot Somwan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Manuel Lora.
Lora fails with the takedown
and Somwan counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Lora looks winded!
Somwan lands a hook that stumbles Lora back into the cage. Somwan follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Lora to the canvas! Somwan pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Lora has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!

In his post fight interview, Chinawoot Somwan started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
