Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kenneth Noisewater!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Caidan Cartwright!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Chris Saunders and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cartwright shoots in for a takedown but Noisewater shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Noisewater tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cartwright paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Noisewater gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Noisewater is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Cartwright presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Cartwright is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Noisewater to keep the fight standing.
With the fighters up against the cage, Noisewater throws an elbow but misses.
Noisewater misses with some punches.
Still in the clinch, Noisewater scores with a nice short uppercut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Cartwright blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Cartwright wants a takedown.
Kenneth Noisewater has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Caidan Cartwright.

Cartwright tries to pull guard but Noisewater forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Noisewater lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Cartwright backwards.

Cartwright tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Noisewater just stands there and leans against the cage.

Noisewater pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Cartwright has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Noisewater uses from the top position.

Cartwright is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Noisewater is aware though and is defending well.
Cartwright is trying to control the position but Noisewater postures up.
Cartwright lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

We've been hearing good reports from Noisewater's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Noisewater on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Noisewater tries to get out of the position.

Cartwright drops back looking for a leg! Noisewater is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Noisewater manages to kick Cartwright off! Cartwright jumps back into Noisewater's guard.

Cartwright is pushing down on Noisewater's leg trying to pass to half guard. Noisewater is fighting to maintain full guard but Cartwright has managed to sneak the leg through.

Cartwright is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Noisewater defends it well.
Cartwright is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Cartwright is looking to take a break and control but Noisewater is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Cartwright has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
