Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Shine Chen (ranked 24370 p4p, 589 weight class) and Jason Poller (ranked 24536 p4p, 565 weight class). Shine Chen looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 4 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Shine Chen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jason Poller!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Dirk Anderson and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poller misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Chen looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Chen goes for a double leg but Poller avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Poller continues to drive forward.
Poller changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Chen tries to avoid it but Poller manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Chen to the ground. Chen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Chen connects with an inside leg kick.
Poller closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Poller is trying to control the action in half guard but Chen is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Chen wants to control but Poller is keeping busy.
Poller looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Poller wants to work for an arm triangle but Chen is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Chen is looking to improve his position.
Poller has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Chen defend it? Poller steps over the head and cranks it - Chen is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Poller!
