Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gerry Zimmerman (ranked 6399 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Feer (ranked 6382 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Steven Brown and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Feer clinches with his opponent.
Feer breaks from the clinch.
Zimmerman tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Feer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Feer looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Zimmerman is fending him off so far but Feer persists. Nope, Zimmerman circles away and we're back to standing.
Zimmerman tries to keep at a distance but Feer has taken the fight into the clinch.
Feer has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Zimmerman uses from the top position.

Feer darts in looking for a takedown but Zimmerman gets double underhooks and turns Feer into the cage.

Feer goes for a double leg but Zimmerman avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Zimmerman continues to drive forward.

Zimmerman has Feer pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Feer manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Feer is trying to trip Zimmerman. He has hold of a leg but Zimmerman is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Feer persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Feer throws his legs up looking for a submission but Zimmerman uses it to pass to side control.
You can see the frustration on Feer's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Feer should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Zimmerman jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Feer walks away with a smile on his face. Zimmerman gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
