Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

22 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mickey Shanks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mon Ster!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shanks lands with a nice body punch.
Ster takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
It looks like Mon Ster has been cut.
Shanks fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Ster on the side of the head.
Ster throws a right hand that misses
and Ster takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Ster has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Shanks finds it's way round the side to connect with Ster's head.
Shanks takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Shanks throws a leg kick
enabling Ster to counter with a crisp jab.
Ster blocks a jab.
Shanks lands with a shot to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Shanks scores with a leg kick.
Donk. Ster catches Shanks right on the button with a cross.
Shanks just misses with a punch to the body.
Ster looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Shanks slips under a jab.
Ster throws a solid leg kick but Shanks takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Ster.
Shanks misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Ster.
Shanks lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Shanks misses with a hook. Ster ducked under it nicely.
Ster was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Shanks on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Shanks definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Ster scores with a hook.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Shanks ducks under a wild hook from Ster.
Ster lands a left and a right that send Shanks crashing to the mat, dazed. Ster thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Mickey Shanks has been cut.
Ster feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Shanks sprawling to the canvas! Shanks rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Ster finish him?!
Shanks is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Shanks is holding his hands too far apart here. Ster throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Shanks is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mon Ster!
After the big win, Mon Ster made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors IniTech Nutrition and telling the interviewer how much he loves him.
