Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lee Moore (ranked 1100 p4p, 128 weight class) and Odin Thorsen (ranked 1245 p4p, 143 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Thorsen's choice of entrance music: Skalder og Legender. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Atkins and James Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moore lands with a shot to the body.
Moore lands a slapping body shot.
Thorsen misses with a lunging right hand
and Moore connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Moore throws a solid leg kick but Thorsen takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Moore.
Moore feints and then cracks Thorsen's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Thorsen down.

Thorsen throws a body punch but Moore moves out of range.
A jab from Moore finds it's way through Thorsen's defenses.

It looks like Odin Thorsen has been cut.
Moore scores with a jab. Thorsen acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Thorsen uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Moore.
Thorsen has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Moore thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Thorsen if he has to take too many more of those.
Thorsen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Moore was well out of range. Poor timing from Thorsen.
It looks like Moore has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Thorsen moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Moore fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Thorsen has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Moore throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Thorsen takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Moore catches Thorsen with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The crowd cheers as Moore lands an impressive looking overhand right. Thorsen doesn't seem phased though.
