Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chris Karter (ranked 2554 p4p, 262 weight class) and Lamont Hawkins (ranked 1981 p4p, 202 weight class). Hawkins has chosen Wu-Tang Clan - C.R.E.A.M as his entrance music. Chris Karter is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

With a record of 29 - 16 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Lamont Hawkins!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Karter feints and then cracks Hawkins's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hawkins down.

As Karter backs off Hawkins throws a huge counter combo but Karter manages to avoid it all.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Karter thuds his right hand into Hawkins's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
