Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Siete Finess (ranked 3036 p4p, 306 weight class) and Davide Longo (ranked 2392 p4p, 244 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Longo swats away the attempt to clinch by Finess.
Finess fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Longo throws a solid leg kick but Finess takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Longo.
As Longo tries to get set, Finess tries to push him back and clinch up but Longo manages to avoid the attempt.
Longo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Longo lands with a hook. Finess tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

and Finess takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Finess tries to clinch but Longo moves out of range.
Finess takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Finess wants to clinch
and Longo counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Longo scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Finess closes the distance and clinches up with Longo, looking for a takedown. Finess pushes Longo against the cage but Longo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Longo moves into range and connects with a jab.
Siete Finess seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Finess throws a series of punches but Longo moves out of range.

Finess listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.

Finess changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Longo tries to avoid it but Finess manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Longo to the ground. Longo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Siete Finess. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Longo works Finess's body with a nice hook.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Finess.

Finess uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Longo has time to react.

The fight stays on the outside here - Finess looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Finess shoots in but Longo avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Longo appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Longo looks to land a combination. Finess sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Finess gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Longo thuds a left hand into Finess's body.

Oh Finess is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
