Martinez comes to the cage accompanied by MEYHEM LAUREN & DJ MUGGS - Murder Rap. Valentine is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Man with the Harmonica by Ennio Morricone. Remy Valentine has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Leonard Martinez's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Valentine tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Martinez is able to avoid easily.
Valentine dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Martinez. That did some damage!
Valentine misses with a body shot.
Martinez throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Valentine on the side of the head.

Martinez bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Valentine pushes Martinez away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Martinez gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Martinez is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Valentine is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
