Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charles Eduardo (ranked 9273 p4p, 736 weight class) and Jose Maichuso (ranked 22364 p4p, 738 weight class). Charles Eduardo could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jose Maichuso's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Charles Eduardo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jose Maichuso!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Matti Vanhoillinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

so Eduardo counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Eduardo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Maichuso was covering up waiting for the punch and Eduardo finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Eduardo is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Maichuso can do to turn this around?

Eduardo has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Eduardo, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
