Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Erik Hiller (ranked 3803 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Trenchard (ranked 9443 p4p, 0 weight class). Hiller comes to the cage accompanied by Rush and Run - Shake and Jump. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 wins, 11 losses and 0 draws, fighting out of Las Vegas, Erik Hiller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 wins, 5 losses and 0 draws, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Trenchard!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.



The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trenchard throws a body punch but Hiller moves out of range.
Hiller changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Hiller closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Trenchard to the mat! Trenchard manages to get full guard.

Hiller stands up from Trenchard's guard - Hiller perhaps looking for a knockout.

Hiller has taken the fight to the clinch.
Trenchard wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Hiller throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Hiller obliges.
Trenchard tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hiller smiles and moves away.
Hiller avoids the head kick by Trenchard.

Hiller looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Trenchard is working an open guard so Hiller takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Hiller scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Trenchard doesn't seem bothered though.
Hiller changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Trenchard looks winded!
A nice inside leg kick there by Hiller. That's going to slow Trenchard down.
Erik Hiller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hiller scores with a spinning back kick!

That's one minute gone in the round.

Hiller drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Hiller not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Hiller stands up from Trenchard's guard - Hiller perhaps looking for a knockout.

Hiller has closed the distance and engaged Trenchard in a clinch.

Hiller escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Trenchard takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Trenchard enables Hiller to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Trenchard manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Trenchard has momentary wrist control but Hiller slips an elbow through the middle.
Hiller is stalling in the full guard.

Hiller decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Hiller lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Trenchard backs up against the cage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A nice leg kick lands there from Hiller.
Hiller throws a right and a left that Trenchard avoids nicely.
Trenchard fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Trenchard fails with a takedown attempt.
Erik Hiller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Trenchard.

Hiller throws a left that rocks Trenchard and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Hiller dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Trenchard regain composure!

Trenchard is rocked!
Trenchard really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hiller. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hiller decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Trenchard is still on wobbly legs! Can Hiller finish him?
Hiller lands an overhand right.
Hiller walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Trenchard drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Hiller swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Trenchard's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Erik Hiller!
As Erik Hiller got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: What a Shock, i am awesome!! *laugh* '.
