Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, JD Dayley!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liao throws a push kick but Dayley slaps the foot to one side.
Liao throws a body kick that misses
and Dayley counters with a shoot takedown. Liao fights it but they end up in guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dayley accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Liao utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Dayley postures up in Liao's guard and throws a big left but Liao blocks it.
Dayley postures up and lands a big shot to Liao's brow.
My spies in Iron Fist Gym inform me that Dayley has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Dayley drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Dayley as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Liao screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Dayley! Nice submission victory there!

JD Dayley was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
