Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Paulsen (ranked 8799 p4p, 716 weight class) and Dan The Beast (ranked 4278 p4p, 466 weight class). The Beast comes into a darkened arena with his song building. I'm Broken kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Dan The Beast has the better chin. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paulsen throws a low kick, looking for The Beast's leg but The Beast calmly moves out of range.
The Beast misses with a lunging right hand
and Paulsen makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
The Beast cracks Paulsen with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
The Beast jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Paulsen appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
The Beast misses with a looping right.
Paulsen connects with an inside leg kick.
Paulsen pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Nice uppercut lands for The Beast. That snapped Paulsen's head back.
Paulsen ducks right into an uppercut from The Beast.

The Beast gets a takedown into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Paulsen is looking for a sweep. The Beast is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The Beast works his foot free and advances to mount.

The Beast working for a guillotine from mount but Paulsen is in no mood to give up.

Paulsen defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from The Beast.
The Beast lands a couple of good shots and Paulsen has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
The Beast is hanging on to Paulsen's back as he tries to escape.
Paulsen might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The Beast has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Paulsen is defending well but eventually The Beast manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Paulsen has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
