Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Atha Wolf (ranked 1998 p4p, 189 weight class) and Jesse Point (ranked 3759 p4p, 352 weight class). Jesse Point has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Atha Wolf's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Atha Wolf!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jesse Point!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wolf takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Point dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Wolf works the jab nicely.

It looks like Jesse Point has been cut.
Point scores with a sloppy right hand. Wolf should have avoided that one.
Point has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Wolf throws an off balance right hand
and Point counters with a good low kick that Wolf was not able to check.
Wolf loads up on a big right hand but Point slips the punch.
Point throws out a counter right but Wolf avoids it with no problem.

Wolf throws a shot from downtown. Point moves away and avoids it.
Point tries to counter by closing the distance.
Wolf takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Wolf uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Point.
Wolf bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Point's head.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Point throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Wolf stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Point scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Point staying out of range there.
Wolf seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

enabling Point to counter with a crisp jab.

Point catches Wolf with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Point darts in and clinches Wolf up against the cage.
Point has Wolf pressed against the cage, preventing Wolf from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Wolf blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Wolf tries to circle away but Point has him pinned against the cage.

Wolf escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Point doesn't manage to clinch there - Wolf circles away.
Point lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Wolf at a distance.
Point looks to score with a jab to the body but Wolf is just out of range.
Wolf throws a hook but Point avoids it easily.
A big left from Wolf misses.
Wolf looks to land a right hand but Point moved out of range.

Wolf misses with a hook. Point ducked under it nicely.

Point goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Wolf throws a nice looking combination but Point bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Wolf dips to his left and cracks Point with an uppercut!
Atha Wolf seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Point changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Point fails with an attempt to clinch.
Point takes one to the side of the head.
Point connects with a single shot there.
Wolf throws the left hand but Point avoids the punch easily.
Point is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Wolf with a body shot.
Point tries to clinch but Wolf moves out of range.
Point moves in looking to clinch but Wolf pushes him off.

It looked like Wolf was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Point lands with a good body shot.

Wolf uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Point.

Wolf looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

and Point holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Point misses with a hook from the clinch.
Point tries a body shot but Wolf blocks it.
Point misses with some punches.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Point takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Point goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Point misses with a hook to the ribs.
Wolf wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Point has him pressed against the cage.

Point working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Point lands with a short shot to the head.
Come on Point - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Wolf escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Point uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Wolf.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Wolf has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Point finds it's way round the side to connect with Wolf's head.
Wolf swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Point counters with a stiff right hand.

Wolf is rocked!
Point fails in his attempt to clinch.
Oh Wolf is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Point lands with a hook. Wolf tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Point ducks under a wild hook from Wolf.
Point lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wolf circles away quickly and effectively.
Point is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Wolf had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Point fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Wolf on the side of the head.
Point cracks Wolf on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Wolf falls backwards against the cage. Point follows up with more strikes that drop Wolf to his knees. Point keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Wolf! This one is all over!
