Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Onni Seppala!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Neo Oen!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Russell Pearce and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body punch from Seppala.
Seppala darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Seppala slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Seppala misses with a body shot.
Oen shoots in but Seppala avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Seppala punishes Oen's body with a nice straight punch.

Seppala connects with a looping right hand.
Oen takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
This has been an exciting period of action!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Seppala uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Oen.
Oen shoots for a double leg takedown but Seppala sprawls well. He's pushed Oen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
It looked like Seppala wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Oen is working for a guillotine from mount but Seppala frees his head quite easily.
Seppala is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Oen thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Oen throwing strikes here but Seppala is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Seppala wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Oen.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Oen with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Neo Oen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Seppala tries to close the distance and clinch but Oen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Oen tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Onni Seppala seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Seppala is pressed up against the cage. Oen has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Seppala down to the mat. Seppala avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Seppala catches Oen with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Seppala tries to clinch up but Oen circles away and keeps his distance.
Oen takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Seppala smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Seppala misses the shot to the body.
Seppala misses with an uppercut.
Seppala is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Oen changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Seppala looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Seppala explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

Oen fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Seppala sprawls well initially but Oen persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Seppala scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Oen manages to mount him!

Oen sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Oen pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Oen goes for an armbar but Seppala turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Seppala.

Onni Seppala showed his dominance in that final round.
