The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Eskenson darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Eskenson perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Eskenson is working to tighten his grip on Williams's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Williams has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Eskenson is really squeezing tight and eventually Williams passes out! Eskenson breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
