The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wagdy closes the distance and clinches up with Sorola , looking for a takedown. Wagdy pushes Sorola against the cage but Sorola circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Wagdy misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Wagdy.
Wagdy wants to control but Sorola is keeping him busy.

Wagdy is trying to get an arm triangle but Sorola is defending well.

Wagdy is working to tighten his grip on Sorola 's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Sorola has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Wagdy is really squeezing tight and eventually Sorola passes out! Wagdy breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
