Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Beltran (ranked 655 p4p, 69 weight class) and Wu Fei Chung (ranked 376 p4p, 42 weight class). Fei Chung has chosen God of Gamblers as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fei Chung circles away from the clinch attempt.
Beltran has his takedown stuffed
and Fei Chung counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Our spies down at at Dr Hatsumi's Clinic inform us that Fei Chung has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Beltran walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Fei Chung checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Beltran seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Beltran shoots in but Fei Chung avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Carlos Beltran seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fei Chung has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Beltran is looking to stand up but Fei Chung isn't so interested in that idea.
Beltran lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Fei Chung has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Beltran is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Fei Chung.

Beltran reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Beltran taps out! Nice BJJ there by Fei Chung!
