Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eddison Tollett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hades Anderson!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Franklyn Lucas and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.


It looks like Hades Anderson has been cut.
Tollett scores with a nice strike.


Anderson is rocked!
Sloppy strikes from Tollett. Those never looked like landing.
Anderson is still on wobbly legs! Can Tollett finish him?
Tollett uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Anderson.
Anderson seems to have recovered his senses.
Anderson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Tollett lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Anderson circles away quickly and effectively.
Anderson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Tollett throws out the jab.
Anderson throws an overhand right that lands on Tollett's shoulder, as Tollett tries to avoid the shot.

Tollett is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Anderson.

Eddison Tollett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A slow jab from Tollett misses its intended target.
Anderson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Tollett manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Tollett swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Tollett throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Anderson connects with a single shot there.

Tollett has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Tollett shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Tollett throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Tollett lands with a nice body punch.

Tollett has Anderson up against the cage in a clinch.

Tollett's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Anderson tries to pull guard but Tollett forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Anderson tries a body shot but Tollett blocks it.

Tollett lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Anderson's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Anderson tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Tollett slows down the pace here.
Tollett scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Tollett lands a hook that snaps the head of Anderson backwards.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Tollett as Anderson tries to tie him up.

Tollett's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Tollett throws a right and a left that Anderson avoids nicely.
Anderson digs a good hook to Tollett's body.
Tollett looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Tollett clinches up against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tollett prevents a takedown attempt there.
Eddison Tollett has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hades Anderson.
Anderson jumps guard but Tollett turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Tollett breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Tollett tries to clinch there but Anderson circles away.
Anderson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Tollett stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Anderson is looking to clinch.
Tollett swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Anderson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Tollett lands a left and a right that send Anderson crashing to the mat, dazed. Tollett thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Anderson scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Anderson is working for a kimura but Tollett is defending it quite comfortably.

Tollett wants to improve his position but Anderson is controlling well.
Anderson tries to pass to full mount but Tollett defends it.
Tollett has hold of Anderson's hands but Anderson slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Tollett is looking to escape.
Anderson landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.


It looks like Eddison Tollett has been cut.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Anderson lands a nice short elbow.
Anderson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Tollett's head.
Nice strikes from Anderson there.
Tollett is trying to stand.
Tollett is looking to control Anderson's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Tollett avoid being mounted?
Tollett wants to get back to his feet.

Anderson is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Tollett is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Hades Anderson!
Hades Anderson decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
