Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buzz Bixby (ranked 511 p4p, 69 weight class) and Johnny Justice (ranked 375 p4p, 58 weight class). Justice has chosen Montana of 300 - Daddy Used to be the Plug as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Buzz Bixby!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 7 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Johnny Justice!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bixby blocks a leg kick.
Justice throws a nice inside leg kick.
Justice takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Bixby throws a hook to the side of Justice's head but Justice sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Bixby swings widly with a right hand
and Justice counters with a nice low kick that buckles Bixby's knee momentarily.
Bixby avoids the body shot from Justice.

Justice moves into the clinch.
Bixby lands with a right to the head.
Bixby working aggressively here.
Bixby struggles to land a body shot inside as Justice controls his hands.
A short uppercut from Bixby.
Bixby blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Bixby has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Bixby escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bixby displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Justice throws out the jab.
That kick from Justice tenderised Bixby's leg. Bixby is trying to keep his angry face on.
Johnny Justice seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bixby shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Justice sprawls well. Justice wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bixby gets slowly back to his feet.

Bixby scores with a hook to the body. Justice takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
The fight stays on the outside here - Justice looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bixby half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Justice lands a nice leg kick that just misses Bixby's sensitive parts.
Justice lands a nice looking kick to the body. Bixby takes a step back to recover.
Bixby thuds a left hand into Justice's body.
Bixby throws a looping overhand right but Justice ducks down to avoid it.

Justice has Bixby up against the cage in a clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Bixby has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Justice uses from the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Justice won't allow Bixby to sweep him here.
Justice wants to stand but Bixby is controlling his posture from full guard.
Bixby throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Justice wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Bixby's closed guard. He's half up but Bixby has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Bixby pivots and extends the arm, Justice falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Bixby! Well done that man!
