The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bliss gets a takedown into half guard.
Bliss wants to take a breather but Manelito is having none of it.
Bliss looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Manelito is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Bliss scores with a couple of nice shots.
Manelito is trying to stand up here but Bliss is controlling him well.

Bliss is working for a submission of some sort.
Manelito is refusing to be controlled, as Bliss sits in half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Bliss lands a nice short elbow.
Bliss is looking to take a break and control but Manelito is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Bliss working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Manelito is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bliss is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Manelito is hurt! He's hurt bad - Bliss fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Manelito from any more punishment! Congratulations to Bliss! Great finish!
