The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Barros shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Byers's guard.
Byers is looking to stand up but De Barros isn't so interested in that idea.
Byers might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Byers really is a fat lump.
De Barros pushes down on Byers's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Byers keeping hold of De Barros's head, controlling as best he can.
De Barros maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Byers could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but De Barros has cracked it and Byers is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by De Barros!
