Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kevin Aboutman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Duke Ditch!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Igor Prikhodko and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aboutman closes the distance and clinches.
Aboutman's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Sloppy strikes from Aboutman. Those never looked like landing.
Aboutman avoids a kick to the body.
Ditch doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Aboutman counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Ditch down! Aboutman is looking to finish but Ditch is intelligently defending himself.
Ditch is rocked!
Aboutman is working Ditch over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Ditch is still in real trouble! Can Aboutman finish him?
Aboutman throws a big right hand that misses.
Ditch utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Aboutman is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Ditch wants to sweep but no luck.
Ditch seems to have recovered his senses.
Ditch has his foot on Aboutman's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Aboutman works his way back into a safe position though.
Aboutman missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Aboutman won't allow Ditch to sweep him here.
Aboutman has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Aboutman tries to free his leg and advance position but Ditch is retaining full guard.
Aboutman seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Aboutman trying to control the position from guard on top but Ditch is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Aboutman pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ditch is keeping the position for now.
Aboutman gets to his feet. Ditch looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Aboutman rushes Ditch and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Ditch pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Aboutman forces Ditch back against the cage and clinches.
Ditch breaks the clinch.
Ditch misses with a right hand
and Ditch takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
OH! Ditch has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Aboutman smells blood and charges in for the finish! Aboutman unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Ditch sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Kevin Aboutman!
