Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Eric Longstreet (ranked 6577 p4p, 492 weight class) and Lee Tramp (ranked 24705 p4p, 615 weight class). Lee Tramp will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lee Tramp!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Dean Styles and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lee Tramp seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tramp pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Longstreet back to the cage. Tramp follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Tramp lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Tramp has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Tramp jabs Longstreet right on the nose. Longstreet blinks but takes it well.

Tramp connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Longstreet momentarily.

Tramp might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Eric Longstreet overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Tramp is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Longstreet defends well.
Longstreet keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Tramp's head.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Tramp is on top in guard.

Lee Tramp showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Longstreet is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tramp had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Longstreet defends it easily.

Longstreet is in close to Tramp's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Tramp is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Tramp has momentary wrist control but Longstreet slips an elbow through the middle.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tramp can do anything to dispel that myth.
Longstreet throws a strike but Tramp rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Tramp tries to free his leg and advance position but Longstreet is retaining full guard.

Longstreet is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Tramp presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Longstreet wants to take the fight to the mat but Tramp manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

I've got Tramp winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
