The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duphus slips a jab from Phoenix.
Duphus drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Phoenix defends it well.
Duphus blocks a jab.
Phoenix looks to land a left hand but Duphus moved out of range nicely.
Duphus moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Duphus lands a jab to Phoenix's midsection.
Duphus wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Phoenix definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Duphus shoots in for a takedown but Phoenix shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Phoenix throws a looping overhand right but Duphus ducks down to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Phoenix swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Duphus avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
The fighters circle momentarily. Phoenix darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Phoenix fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Duphus manages to avoid it.
Duphus connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Phoenix uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Duphus.
Duphus slips a straight right by Phoenix.

A big left from Phoenix misses.
Duphus changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Duphus throws a body shot but no joy.
Phoenix is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Duphus takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Phoenix connects with a right that clearly hurt Duphus. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Phoenix proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Duphus collapses and taps out under the pressure!
