Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Apollo Creed (ranked 1067 p4p, 164 weight class) and John Brophy (ranked 5204 p4p, 574 weight class). Creed kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is James Brown - Living in America. Brophy has chosen Last Caress - Metallica as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Creed uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Brophy.

That was a close second round but I would say that Apollo Creed will probably get the nod.

Creed lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

and Brophy cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Brophy scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Creed doesn't seem bothered though.

Creed takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Brophy scores a knockdown with a big right hand! Creed beats the count and gets back to his feet. The referee asks him to walk forwards and it appears he is OK so we'll continue the bout.

Brophy throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Creed stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

John Brophy comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Brophy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
