Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Achmed Khan (ranked 3640 p4p, 458 weight class) and Howard Harper (ranked 4124 p4p, 504 weight class). Howard Harper has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Achmed Khan!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Howard Harper!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paulsen Ambrosius and Albert Achterberg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan lands with a good body shot.
Khan changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Khan clobbers Harper with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Harper shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Khan as he avoids it easily.
Harper tries to score a power double leg takedown but Khan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Harper somewhat.
Khan scores with a hook to the body. Harper takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Khan digs a good hook to Harper's body.
Harper takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Khan connects with a crisp jab.
Khan scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Khan jabs at Harper's body.
Khan lands with a hook. Harper tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Harper takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Harper looks winded!
Khan's corner calls for a 1-2. Khan obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Harper is rocked!
Achmed Khan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Khan lands a nice looking body shot.
Harper is still on wobbly legs! Can Khan finish him?
Khan shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Harper takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Khan sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Harper bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Achmed Khan!
