Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Billy Kidman (ranked 25188 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luiz Lowe (ranked 4255 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kidman might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to You Can Run. Luiz Lowe has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Billy Kidman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Luiz Lowe!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Joseph Jones and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Lowe. Kidman does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kidman misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kidman looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Kidman takes a body punch but keeps moving.
A shot to the liver by Lowe. Beautiful body shot.
Kidman doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Lowe counters by moving into the clinch.
Lowe throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Kidman jumps into guard, dragging Lowe to the mat.
Kidman might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Lowe slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lowe won't allow Kidman to sweep him here.
Kidman has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lowe can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Kidman is trying to keep Lowe in close.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Kidman manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lowe manages to get himself to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Lowe is working an open guard so Kidman takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Kidman rushes Lowe and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Kidman fails to pull the fight into his guard.
A body shot lands from Lowe.
Lowe scores with a hook to the body.
Kidman is breathing heavily.
Lowe breaks from the clinch.
Lowe drives through and clinches with Kidman against the cage.
Lowe scores with a nice hook to the head.
A body shot lands from Lowe.
Still in the clinch, Lowe scores with a nice short uppercut.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lowe cracks Kidman with a nice body shot.
Kidman is trying to pull guard but Lowe has him pressed against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Billy Kidman. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lowe scores with a hook to the body.
Lowe manages to break the clinch.
Lowe keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Lowe let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Lowe feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kidman sprawling to the canvas! Kidman rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Lowe finish him?!
Kidman is rocked!
Lowe is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Kidman flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Kidman is out cold! Lowe holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Luiz Lowe!
Luiz Lowe seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
Billy Kidman was interviewed post fight and said 'I'll be back'.
